It’s Christmas time at the vaccination centre

Many associate the Christmas period with winding down and relaxing, but for many in the NHS it’s business as usual.

It’s Christmas time at the vaccination centre

But working hard doesn’t mean that our teams can’t get into the festive spirit, as Katherine Sheffield and Jo Manning from the Guttmann Centre mass vaccination centre site show.

They helped decorate the Christmas tree and spelt out a special golden and glittering NHS message for this photo.

Joanna Crawley, Senior Clinical Lead, who is based at the Aylesbury site, said: ” We want our staff to enjoy the festive period whilst they continue to deliver first, second and Booster vaccinations and it is great to see that we are keeping the NHS at the heart of everything we do, including decorating the tree at Stoke Mandeville Stadium vaccination centre.

“The accelerated booster programme means our staff are working harder than ever at a time when many are winding down and for that I am so grateful. The true spirit of Christmas is right here!”
