Jenni Guest awarded Darzi Fellowship

Jenni Guest, the improvement facilitator at the Improvement and Innovation Team at Oxford Health, has been awarded the prestigious Darzi Fellowship.

Jenni Guest, improvement facilitator with the Improvement and Innovation Team at Oxford Health, has been awarded the prestigious Darzi Fellowship.

The Darzi Fellowship Programme is a high profile initiative that has been shown to have a profound impact not only on participants, but also on their employing organisation. Over the past seven years, ‘Darzis’ have led major service improvements, implemented numerous safety and quality initiatives and made substantial financial savings for health care trusts. The programme is run by the London Leadership Academy who commission on behalf of Health Education England in London.

Jenni will be undertaking the fellowship in Allied Health Professionals Education, with the aim of enabling allied health professionals to lead and shape new ways of providing the best care to the people they serve.

Allied health professionals include everything from occupational therapists, podiatrist, dietitian, and music therapist, to physiotherapist, diagnostic radiographer, therapeutic radiographer, and speech and language therapist. They play a key role in the services that Oxford Health provides.
