This year, Oxford Health’s virtual AMM and AGM will be held online via MS Teams on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, between 6pm and 8pm. To join, click here.

Members of the public, staff, patients, friends, families and carers, as well as members of our Foundation Trust are all invited to attend this live event to find out more about how we have been delivering mental and physical health care to the communities we serve.

It’s a chance to ask questions of OHFT leaders and learn about the vital work we carry out as an NHS organisation serving the populations of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire.

During the meeting you will hear from the Trust’s Chair, David Walker and Chief Executive, Dr Nick Broughton and other board members as well as the Mike Hobbs, Lead Governor of the Council of Governors. They will guide you through a summary of the year, annual accounts, external audit followed by video presentations from:

  • Covid Operations Director, Tehmeena Ajmal reviewing Oxford Health’s role as lead provider for vaccination centres in Aylesbury, Reading and Oxford.
  • Executive Managing Director for Community Services, Dr Ben Riley on new services  and plans for the future of community services in Oxfordshire.
  • Director of Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Karl Marlowe with be joined by the incoming Head of Department of Psychiatry, Prof Belinda Lennox. Dr Marlowe will speak about research and development initiatives and approaches, while Prof Lennox will address the importance of collaboration between research and clinical services in a video which also spotlights the work of the Brain Health Centre.
  • Lead practitioner, Claire Daniels and Service Manager, Joseph Madamombe will talk about the award-winning Buckinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Service and how its skilled team is helping mothers experiencing mental health concerns through pregnancy and beyond.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions during the event.

You will be able to post questions during the meeting by the online Q & A function, but we also welcome your questions in advance. If you already have a question in mind, please email it to our Communications Team. If you are unable to attend the live event, a recording will be available on our YouTube channel shortly after the meeting.
