Parents, young people, and practitioners invited to complete Ofsted survey

Parents, young people, and practitioners (working with children or young people) are invited to share their experiences of the help and support available to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Oxfordshire.

Parents, young people, and practitioners invited to complete Ofsted survey

As part of a regular review – known as local Area Partnership SEND Inspection –   Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are visiting Oxfordshire County Council and its partners this month, carrying out an inspection of local services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The services within the Oxfordshire local area partnership include education, health, social care and families. The inspection is designed to make sure the services offered by the council and its partners are effective.

Further information about area SEND inspections is available on Ofsted’s website.

The feedback from parents and other interested groups will give inspectors as broader picture as possible about the current local area SEND provision, which includes health, social care and education.

The survey is available on Ofsted’s website where the relevant section can be completed online. It will close at 9am on Tuesday 11 July 2023.
