The 2013 Patient-led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) programme are taking place. This involves a team of people from within the Trust visiting all wards to provide a non-technical view of the quality of non-clinical services provided to inpatients.  The inspections are a visual assessment focusing on the standards of cleanliness, the condition of the environment and the services provided to patients for example Catering Services.  On completion of the inspection the team will jointly discuss and award scores in line with the PLACE guidance.

The Trust would like to hear from patients and carers who would be willing to be part of one of the teams.  Reimbursement of expenses will be made in line with the Trust policy.

If you are interested in taking part please contact Jennifer Accourt, Facilities Manager on 07881 506799.
