Another committed team of Oxford Health workers have received high praise from patients on the independent review website iwantgreatcare.
The North Community Therapy Team, based at The Fiennes Centre, Horton Hospital site in Banbury, are part of a countywide service who work seven days a week to keep patients safe at home and prevent admission into hospital
They do this by providing rehabilitation to people in their own homes and by responding quickly to patients who have become unwell and require increased support and therapy to remain safe at home.
The team is made up of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Nurses and therapy assistants.
Amongst the five-star reviews are comments about the “Very considerate and patient staff.”, who were “friendly, caring and professional”, while another commented on the personal touch: “The ladies who came to see me discussed everything with me and made sure I was happy. They were very kind and lovely ladies. Very happy with all the help and care I received. Thank you.”
Katrina Baldry, Clinical Lead at CTS North said: “Well done to the Community Therapy Service North – I’m very proud!
“The therapy team consistently works hard and go above and beyond to support their patients, and families, in order to remain at home.
“The last six months have been particularly difficult and they have worked so flexibly and responsively to ensure their patients get the correct treatment and support in a timely manner. I wish to congratulate the team on continuing to provide a high standard of care, and I’m so pleased that patients and their families are appreciating and noticing their hard work too.”
