Pop up vaccination centre for Oxford United’s first home match of the season

Oxford Health has been working closely with the Kassam Stadium management since early this year to run the successful mass vaccination centre.

And, to mark the start of the season at home, fans who have yet to have a first or second vaccination (Pfizer second jabs only after 8 weeks) will have the chance to get their jab before or after the game.

Anita Sherwood, Oxford Health’s Head of Testing, Immunisations and Risk Assessments, said: “The Kassam is the home of Oxford Health’s first mass vaccination centre we opened and we were keen to give fans at this home match the chance to get their first or second vaccine.”

The vaccinations will be carried out between 1pm and 6pm. The pop-up vaccination centre will be situated near the stadium entrance and will be clearly signed.

The facility will be available only to people attending the game against Charlton Athletic aged over 18.
