The Have a Go Festival is back for 2023!

People with a learning disability will have the chance to try out a range of sports, meet new people and get active at this years’ Have a Go Festival.

The free event is fun for all the family and will be taking place at Horspath Athletics Track in Horspath Road, Oxford, on Tuesday 11 July between 10am and 2pm.

Among this years’ activities are cycling, athletics, football, cricket, tennis, dance, archery, multi-sports, paralympic sport boccia and drums alive.

Kirsten Prance, Clinical and Service Director of Learning Disability services at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust said: “This event is about fun and celebrating the opportunities we have to enjoy good health. Everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy this fantastic event and join in with the sports. The sports day is completely free for people to enter with free, accessible parking.

“We hope to see you there. Come along and get involved in the Have a Go Festival!”
