Mental health services in Buckinghamshire are in the process of being transformed with the first services moving into new The Whiteleaf Centre, in Aylesbury during February.

The trust took ownership of the site from building contractors Kier on Friday 17 January, and the commissioning phase is now underway. The building will soon be fully equipped and prepared for the arrival of wards, services and patients from Tuesday 25 February onwards.

The Whiteleaf Centre has been designed to provide a welcoming, spacious environment that supports patient recovery and wellbeing. It will provide both inpatient and outpatient facilities designed to the highest standard. Aylesbury-based services currently being provided from Tindal Centre, Cambridge House and the John Hampden Unit are moving into the new Whiteleaf Centre in a phased approach over the course of two weeks from Tuesday 25 February.
