Why not nominate them for a DAISY award?
The DAISY Awards is an international recognition programme that honours and celebrates the skillful and compassionate care provided by nurses and midwives each day.
DAISY describes itself as a partnership with healthcare organisations to provide on-going recognition of the clinical skill and especially the compassion nurses provide to patients and families all year long.
Oxford Health employs more than 1,700 nurses who are eligible to be nominated and, especially given the extra challenges the pandemic has brought.
Louise nets award with fish hook help
One recent winner, Louise Betts, received a big surprise last month when she was presented with her prize. You can read the full story here. The fantastic celebration was only possible thanks to a nomination from a patient, so be sure to take the time to fill in a form if you encounter an Oxford Health nurse that you think deserves to be considered.
