Didcot Community Hospital has received five-star praise from patients for its excellent work.
The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust facility provides rehabilitation and palliative care in its rehabilitation ward for patients who no longer require the support of an acute hospital.
The team is made up occupational therapists, physiotherapists, health care assistants and registered nurses who work closely together with social services.
The hospital’s mission is “To provide individualised quality patient centred care and rehabilitation to enable individuals to reach their full potential in a calm, happy, safe environment by a professional welcoming team.”
Clearly, patients are finding that staff are meeting those aims admirably with one commenting on www.iwantgreatcare.org “They look after me really well… Couldn’t wish for anything better!” while another explained “Everyone is working tirelessly to give the best care.”
Others commented on the “excellent” treatment and “very professional, kind and good service.”
