The Team is operational 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). An Out-of-Hours service is available outside of these hours through the following telephone number: 01865 901000. In the near future out-of-hours support will include a crisis service but this is not yet fully active.
All referrals must be made by a healthcare professional. Please email at the address below for our most up-to-date referral criteria and referral form.
Please note, our referral time frames may differ from AMHT’s and are as follows:
- Routine – within 10 days
- Urgent – 2 working days
- Emergency/Crisis – 4 hours
GP’s can refer directly to the Oxon Perinatal Service via ERS. For urgent and emergency referrals only, please call the team to discuss before sending the referral through: 01865 902911.
We are able to accept direct referrals from professionals including midwives, health visitors, FNP nurses and other mental health professionals. However, we ask that you call to speak with a member of the team to discuss your referral before sending the referral form through.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept referrals directly from the public. If you are worried about your mental health or your partners mental health and how this is impacting them during the Perinatal Period, please discuss your concerns with your GP, Health Visitor or midwife who can refer on your behalf.
