As you will appreciate, a lot of planning has gone into the formal communications approach, led by the Cabinet Office and the Royal Household, to enable us as a nation to remember Queen Elizabeth’s life and service.

NHS England is therefore pausing most proactive communications from across our organisation, with the exception of operational and patient communications. This includes pausing virtual or in person events and webinars. This will last until after the state funeral has taken place.

In line with this approach, the Council of Governors meeting scheduled for this time, is not going ahead.
