Count Me In

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is a research active Trust and hosts the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre.

It is our goal to improve patient care by developing and discovering new treatments and interventions. Our research is conducted to the highest standards and is informed by our patients, their carers and our clinical colleagues.

We will inform you about opportunities to participate in relevant research unless you ask us not to

To ensure that everyone who has used our services hears about research opportunities, we may contact you about research that you may be eligible to take part in, for up to five years.

We will contact you directly to ask you whether you would like to participate in research, rather than asking your clinician on your behalf.  You do not have to take part. It is up to you to decide whether to find out more about the research we contact you about. We do not share patient information outside of Oxford Health as part of this process, without explicit patient consent. More information can be found at https://www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/research/how-we-contact-patients-about-research/
