COVID-19 update for Contraception Outreach while Schools & Colleges are closed

Contraception outreach is available for young people up to and including 19 years of age who are in mainstream education settings in Oxfordshire or under the employment, education and training (EET) team.

Young people & professionals can contact the School Health & College nurse service for support & advice with contraception, including the supply of emergency contraception.

All initial consultations will be done remotely on the telephone or via services such as facetime or Skype in line with guidance on social distancing.

We may also discuss and assess for other contraception & sexual health requirements such as:

  • Condoms
  • Chlamydia Testing & Treatment
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Assessment for on-going contraception

Young people can either contact their School nurse directly or contact Andrea Kirtland via e mail oxfordhealth.contraception.outreach@nhs.net or telephone 07920 470 529

For Professional referrals please complete the  referral form and send to oxfordhealth.contraception.outreach@nhs.net

For further information please contact Andrea Kirtland (College & Sexual Health Team Leader) by e mail: oxfordhealth.contraception.outreach@nhs.net or telephone 07920 470 529
