Targeted support for vulnerable children and families
Sometimes young people and their families need extra support for a variety of reasons including mental health, bereavement, money and housing difficulties, challenging behaviour, domestic abuse, drugs and alcohol. Your School Health Nurse can provide a safe space for you to discuss any specific health difficulties you or someone else may have, how they might be impacting on you and how they might be addressed. They will also be able to support you and your family in meetings.
If you want to discuss any worries or concerns or feel you need some extra support, please contact your school health nurse for an appointment, their details can usually be found on a poster in your school or speak to your parent/carer, tutor or head of year.
