Privacy and Dignity Promises

We know that privacy, dignity and respect are important to everyone. Following a consultation with patients, carers and staff we now have a set of promises that all staff are fully committed to.

We promise...

To treat you with respect and compassion.
To listen to you and treat you as an individual.
To address you appropriately, as you would wish.
Not to allow language or other communications issues to become a barrier to understanding.
To make sure you have access to information and choices appropriate to your care.
To let you know how to access advocacy and support services if you need them.
You will be greeted and made to feel welcome when you are on a Trust site.
