As part of TalkingSpace Plus, the Wellbeing Service is delivered by Oxfordshire Mind, a mental health charity here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn to for advice and support.
A range of wellbeing activities and short psycho-educational courses are available for people whose problems with anxiety and depression are very mild, or who are well on the way to recovery and who want to stay well. Peer Support groups help people with a shared experience of mental health problems to meet and talk together or share an activity.
If you need help from the Wellbeing Service you will be offered an appointment for an Options Session. This will either be over the telephone or face to face. This session will talk through the options most suitable for your individual needs and help find the right support which will be useful for you. The initial session will then be followed up afterwards.
