NHS Oxfordshire Talking Therapies does not offer support for mental health emergencies or crises.

Oxfordshire Safe Haven

This is available to all Oxfordshire residents and is a non-clinical,  face-to-face safe space to get short-term support in mental health crisis when other services are not available. It is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6pm-10pm.

NHS 111 Online

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do.

To get help from NHS 111 go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only).

Samaritans

Offering free, confidential, emotional support and befriending in complete confidence at any time of the day or night.

GP support

Make an urgent appointment with your regular GP, as this is usually the first point of contact for anyone concerned about mental health problems. Alternatively, your GP surgery will usually provide an answer phone message advising you of who to contact in an emergency, together with other useful telephone numbers.

If you need out-of-hours support just google “out of hours GP in… (enter your location)”.

SANEline

Offers and provides information and emotional support to those experiencing mental health difficulties, their families and carers.

CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against male suicide. Anyone can hit crisis point. They run a free and confidential helpline and webchat – 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about life’s problems.
