Buckinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Service

The Buckinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Team provides specialist advice and assistance to women with complex and severe mental health in pregnancy and up to a year after baby’s birth. We also look to support partners, significant others and health professionals involved in their care.

The multi-professional team consists of psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, psychological therapists, nursery nurses, peer support workers, parent-infant support workers, management and an administration team.

We work together to provide specialist care and interventions, offering a holistic approach to helping parents and their families. Care is delivered in family homes and at our local clinics in Aylesbury and High Wycombe.

The team works in close collaboration with the Buckinghamshire Maternal Mental Health Service (MMHS).
