Our Post Covid rehabilitation specialist joined a national event titled “Priorities for Long Covid services, care and research” which was held under the Westminster Health Forum banner.

She spoke at the online event which also featured leading experts from across the country as well as patients and patient advocates.

Emma explained: “The event was a great opportunity to tell people across the country, including our peers and MPs in attendance, about the great work being done by Oxford Health.

“I spoke about the Trust’s work, in partnership with OUH, as an exemplar which has proved the importance of an individualised approach to care and rehabilitation.

“I also made the case for a focus on support that helps get the patient back into work. Being able to work is fundamental for many, but being supported in this return and liaising with employers and educating regarding adjustments that can be made to make a phased return more effective is an extremely important focus for rehabilitation.”
