Oxfordshire Perinatal Mental Health Service

Oxfordshire Perinatal Mental Health Service

The Oxfordshire Perinatal Team is a new specialist service providing assessment and treatment of women with complex and severe mental health problems during and after pregnancy.

It was set up thanks to an Oxfordshire share of a £365m Government funding pot after a shortfall in the provision of perinatal services was identified.  Our service will ensure improved access to treatment and better outcomes for women and families.

Our team of 11 professionals are currently helping 40 mums pre and post birth who have a range of needs, with pre and post-natal depression and anxiety being the most common conditions.
