Your care: support and advice       PALS & Complaints

Patient Advice & Liaison

PALS is a free and confidential service that provides help when it is needed.  Members of the PALS team act independently when handling patient and family concerns, liaising with staff, managers and, where appropriate, relevant organisations to negotiate immediate or prompt solutions.

PALS can help and support you with:

  • advice and information
  • comments and suggestions
  • compliments and thanks
  • informal complaints
  • advice about formal complaints

If the PALS team cannot answer your questions, they will put you in contact with someone who can help you.

Compliments

Positive feedback is welcomed by staff and helps us to understand when we get things right for you as a patient, carer, relative or visitor.  Please send any compliments to us via email: PALS@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk or via our freephone number: 0800 328 7971 and we will ensure that your views are shared with our staff.

Contact PALS

We have offices based in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and our PALS service also covers services in Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. PALS Surgeries are also held on a monthly basis across many inpatient wards.  For further details about these then please contact the office.
