Swindon is incredibly lucky to have many beautiful parks and open spaces.

Things to enjoy:

• Walks or summers days in Lydiard country park (which as well as a beautiful house and lovely grounds offers a treetop experience
• A weekend junior and adult park run
• The Radio 1 Big Chill Weekend
• A chilli and cheese festival
• Dog agility competitions and outdoor cinema and theatre!)
• Shaw Forest country park
• The Lawns
• Stanton Park
• Coate Water (which boats a rowing and sailing club, fishing, a nature reserve, crazy gold, a mini railway, a pitch & putt and a mindfulness garden)
• Town Gardens.

There’s even a small urban sensory garden called Fishing for the Moon!  Lydiard park has a treetop experience.
