The Community Bladder and Bowel Service is available for all adults over the age of 18 years with bladder and bowel problems.
Referrals can be made by the patient/relative or carer, or through any health care professionals and educational sources. This can be done by telephone, fax or letter.
The service actively seeks to promote healthy bladder and bowels by undertaking a thorough assessment by Nurse Specialists and Specialist Physiotherapists. Each holistic assessment takes into consideration the physical, mental, psychological, social and emotional wellbeing of the individual. Treatments follow national guidelines and are evidence based. The focus of assessment and treatments is directed at establishing healthy bladder and bowels. The team liaise with multi-disciplinary health care professionals and other services to deliver individualised care for all individuals within the service.
The service provides clinics all over Oxfordshire and where possible appointments will be made to your nearest clinic. On occasions home visit appointments are available.
Service opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
