All training is delivered by registered Health Care professionals to ensure that carers and support workers are fully equipped to care for children with specific health needs.

This training is provided to individuals involved in the community and home care of children who are known to the Children’s Community Nursing (CCN) team.

Our training is delivered in accordance with the Children’s Delegated Health Care Task (DHCT) framework, meaning we follow the latest standards and best practices to maintain the safest and most effective care.

Where required, training is specifically tailored to the health needs of the child or children they support, ensuring individualised and comprehensive support for every family.
