The Buck’s CAMHS Community Eating Disorder Team in Aylesbury has been praised for its early intervention, treatment and the ongoing care and support for patients and their families.
Accepting the July Exceptional People Team Award Operational Lead Kirsty Macdonald said:
“It is an absolute honour to receive an Exceptional People’s Team award. We pride ourselves in being a welcoming, hardworking and inclusive team. We are always working together and have a strong sense of teamwork. It has truly meant a lot that our team has been noticed as exceptional and we will endeavour to continue this way of working for years to come.”

The Bucks CAMHS Community Eating Disorder Team was nominated by Nursing Student Mizimo (Mizzy) Sinkambe for their tireless efforts in creating success stories for the families within their environment and for their dedication, passion and teamwork.
The team deserves to be recognised for the positive difference they consistently make.
