Oxfordshire Neurodevelopmental Conditions (NDC) Admin Team are an integral part of the Oxfordshire CAMHS service, supporting the clinicians to deliver care to our community. The team are among those leading the way in neuro-affirming care at Oxford Health, one of the key components of the Trust’s Neurodivergent Strategy.
Service Manager Kelly Garside said:
“We are truly grateful to receive the Exceptional People Team Award. It means so much to be recognised for our hard work, collaboration and commitment to supporting the NDC service. This recognition reflects how we support each other through the challenges of a busy admin role and how important our work is to the smooth running of the service. Our role can be very difficult with all the pressures but receiving this award feels like we are appreciated, and our efforts are acknowledged. Thank you for celebrating our team!”
The nomination
Oxfordshire NDC Admin Team was nominated by their colleague Head of Service for Oxfordshire CAMHS Vicky Norman – for their thoughtful approach, teamwork and dedication to support our patients and those who take care of them.
Vicky commented:
“The team manage very difficult situations to a high standard – we never get any complaints about how they manage the calls as their manner and approach is so caring.
“The administrative team deal with many phone calls on a day-to-day basis, due to the number of families waiting for an NDC assessment – the calls can be very emotive and difficult for the admin staff. The team never complain about taking the calls, they listen and try their best to deal with each situation.
“The NDC administrators and Office Manager are thoughtful, caring and never complain that they do this on top of their admin work.”
