Elections will take place shortly for Governors to sit on the Trust’s Members’ Council from
1 April 2009.
The nomination process for candidates closed on Thursday 19 February noon and a Statement of Candidates is now available. Ballot packs will be issued to Members on 11 March with a closing date for the election on 31 March. Details about how the voting system will operate will be sent out with the ballot papers.
These vacancies have arisen because the Governors in question received a one-year term in last year’s election. Varying terms of office were agreed in order to secure staggered elections in the future. These Governors, who have served for one year, are eligible to stand for re-election. The term of office will be three years.
