Our Communications and Involvement Team handles all media enquiries on behalf of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. Our aim is to work with the media in a positive and proactive manner and to respond to all media enquries within 3 hours. On rare occasions, where the enquiry is of a highly sensitve or complex nature this might take slightly longer, but we will always work with you to ensure deadlines are met.
Patient confidentiality is our priority and therefore we are unable to disclose any information about a patient unless we are given permission from the individual. We are also unable to share information about a patient’s treatment, care or diagnosis.
Interviews, filming or photography is prohibited on or around Trust sites and needs our prior permission. To obtain permission, or to arrange an interview with Trust staff, please contact the Communications and Involvement Team who will be happy to help with your request.
For urgent media enquiries out of hours (Monday – Thursday 5pm to 9am and from Friday 5pm to Monday 9am) please contact our main Switchboard: 01865 741717 and ask to speak to the Duty Director. They will link in with the on-call Communications and Involvement Manager as required.
