Stage 2: Triage

Members of the clinical team review all of the information provided by your referrer to decide if an autism assessment is suitable for you. We write back to your referrer and you, to share our decision.

If we feel an autism assessment is suitable, you will be sent some screening questionnaires which you need to complete and return in order to be added to our waiting list.

If we feel an autism assessment is not suitable, you will receive a letter detailing the reasons and we will try to make alternative recommendations. If you wish to be re-referred to the service we would require compelling new evidence.
