Participation in Oxfordshire

We need your help!

We would like to set up a participation group for young people who have accessed CAMHS services. We would love to hear your feedback and involve young people in improving our services.

This is your participation group it can be fun too – honest! It can help build your skills and confidence.

There are opportunities to get involved in:

  • making videos
  • website design
  • art and design
  • public speaking.

We’re open to ideas too, so if there’s something you’d like us to set up, please let us know.

What we’ve done

Here are some of the things that young people have worked with us on:

  • Young people were involved in designing the logo of the Link Team.
  • We are working with young people to have their artwork on display at one of our sites, Raglan House.
  • Parent & carer questionnaires have been introduced in to CAMHS alongside young people’s versions to get their views too!

These are some of the film projects that have been shaped by participation:

Parents and carers

The Walking With You group is a parent support group. It is a safe space where you can talk freely among people who are walking the same path as you. There is no judgement, and it is completely confidential.

The group is open to anyone who is supporting a child or young person experiencing difficulties, up to the age of 25. You do not need to have a child or young person under CAMHS to join the group.
