Inpatient service (Highfield Unit)

Some mental health conditions may need to be treated in hospital.  We have a specialist unit called the Highfield Unit at Warneford Hospital in Oxford.

The Highfield Unit is a state-of-the-art NHS facility which provides specialist inpatient services for young people aged 11 to 18, with acute mental health needs.

We provide a safe and supportive environment while young people are in the most vulnerable stages of their illness.

We offer individualised care for each young person: following assessment, our team will make a care plan using a range of treatments and interventions.
