Marlborough House Inpatient Unit

The CAMHS Inpatient service, based in Swindon is called Marlborough House.

The unit is self-contained on the hospital site, and offers both inpatient and day patient facilities. It includes an on-site school which follows the national curriculum.  Our teachers will liaise with each young person’s home school to ensure continuity.

Although we do our best to keep children and young people as close to home as possible, we can admit young people from all over the country, depending on the availability of places at the time.

If you need to come into the inpatient unit we will try our best to place you at Marlborough House but it is important to understand that we cannot guarantee a place if the unit is full.
