Peer support
The Keystone Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub has been developed to improve the health and wellbeing of people who experience serious and complex mental health difficulties in the community.
Who are Peer Support Workers?
Peer Support Workers are people who have themselves used mental health services. They understand what it is like to live with a mental health condition, and that it is just one part of your wellbeing.
They will support you, making sure you are at the centre of your care and help you to access other support within the Keystone hub and wider community.
Routine and goal setting
We will work with you as you manage your routine and wellbeing. Peer Supporters will help you understand your daily needs and maintain your self-care routines by setting small goals, and identifying where you may need some extra tips and support.
Signposting
Peer Support Workers will help you connect with local communities and community groups with shared experiences, interests and hobbies.
They will help you access to access groups and services, making sure you have the information you need and feel comfortable.
