  • If real world issues, use 5 steps of problem solving technique.

Ideas (present thoughts)

  • Categorise into values based or working against your values.
  • If the former, take forward.
  • If the latter, discard.

Rumination (past thoughts):

Usually contain strong emotional content that might need to be dealt professionally through therapy or counselling or sometimes even talking to a generous friend who can help us rationalise.
