Parking

There are dedicated spaces in front of the building for Blue Badge holders and for drop-off and pick-up. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are travelling by car and need to park, we recommend you use the nearby Oxford Parkway Park & Ride site. The bus service runs along Banbury Road and stops at Jordan Hill, which is a five-minute walk then to Murray House.

For more details, please refer to the map below.

Public transport

Jordan Hill Business Park is located just off Banbury Road, which is served by frequent bus routes to and from Oxford. Some of these routes also stop at or close to the Oxford Parkway Park & Ride site.

Routes 2 and 2A

Routes 2 and 2A serve the Park & Ride itself. You can pay to park and walk to Murray House or pay to park and take the bus (all in a single ticket, which  covers the return bus journey too).  Find out more at Park & Ride’s website.

Routes 700, S4, X4, S5 and S7

Routes 700, S4, X4, S5 and S7 serve the bus stop close to the entrance to the Park & Ride on the Oxford Road (before it becomes the Banbury Road). If you chose to use these buses, however, you will just need to pay for parking and then pay the bus fare on these routes separately.

Oxford Parkway

This Park & Ride also serves the Oxford Parkway railway station. If you are using the it to leave your car and then make your way to Murray House, please use the main Park & Ride car park (and not the one designated just for the train station only).

Bus stops

There are bus stops called Jordan Hill located close to a road that is also called Jordan Hill. For those needing to cross the Banbury Road, there is a pedestrian crossing just beyond the bus stops.

Once on the right side of the Banbury, follow the footpath into Jordan Hill and then continue walking around to the left and the business park will start to be visible. Murray House is the first building that you will see.

The Jordan Hill stops are the first ones that buses leaving from or near the Park & Ride arrive at on their way into the city centre. For those travelling in the opposite direction, then it is the last stop before the Park & Ride.

We are working with the bus operators to help ensure that bus drivers are aware of Murray House and where passengers should get off their buses. If in doubt, just ask for the Jordan Hill stop.

Walking

If you prefer to walk, Murray House is approximately a 15 minute walk along the Banbury Road from Oxford Parkway Park & Ride. The exact time may vary depending on your level of mobility, of course, but there is a pavement all the way and it is well lit.

Cycling

Murray House has cycles racks for those wishing to cycle to and from the building.
