OBMH has been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for occupational safety and health. Very few NHS trusts have achieved this and it reflects the efforts and commitment of all staff in the Trust to ensure the health, safety and welfare of colleagues and patients. The evidence considered by RoSPA centres on the quality of health and safety management systems and therefore reviews numbers of incidents, details of enforcement actions, relevant Trust policies and examples of development in best practice. The Health and Safety Team worked very hard to collate the evidence and are to be commended.
