Interventions
We will offer a personalised care plan tailored to individual needs and goals which might include:
- Detailed assessment and understanding of what you have been experiencing.
- Evidence-based specialist psychological interventions – this includes 1:1 psychological therapy (including cognitive behavioural therapy) and Family Intervention.
- Relevant medication advice and management.
- Support with accessing employment, education and vocational activities.
- Signposting and support accessing social activities and other services.
What to expect
If we think our service might be right for you, you will be invited to an assessment. This might be at one of our bases, your home, or another location of your choosing. We will discuss this with you when we offer the appointment.
One or two members of our team will meet with you to talk about your experiences, other relevant areas of your life and start to think about what might help.
The assessment usually takes place over one 60-90 minute appointment but may take more than one session. This is to make sure we have enough time to understand what has been happening.
Some people may not be suitable for our service. If this is the case, we will work with you to look at suitable alternatives.
