Eating Disorder Service

We support young people with eating disorders

Welcome to the Oxon/Bucks CAMHS eating disorder website. Here you’ll find information for young people, families and professionals, where there is concern that a young person may have an eating disorder.

Our aim

We work with you and your family to restore health and wellbeing.

This is a fight you can win!

The reality is: there is life after an eating disorder

Who we are

We are a team who work together to treat eating disorders in young people.

We include psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians, nurses, dietician, family therapists and admin staff.

What we do

You and your family may be invited to attend an assessment to find out what you are struggling with and work out how we can help.

This may involve regular family and individual support over a period of weeks or months.

How to get help

You can self-refer or be referred from your doctor and other professionals who are involved with you such as your school.

If your referral is not from a GP, we will generally ask you to see your GP for a physical assessment and blood tests.

Follow the links below to find out more about eating disorders, the referral process and what help we provide.
