Non-urgent advice: In an emergency

Medic Support does not offer support for mental health emergencies or crises.

If you feel desperate or you need to talk to someone urgently, you could phone:

  • Your GP or their Out of Hours service
  • Samaritans on 116 123
  • Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Mental Health Helpline on NHS 111
  • Berkshire Mental Health Crisis Team on 0800-129-9999

Dial 999 if you think that your life, or that of another person, is at immediate risk.

If you require urgent medical care (for example, after self-harm) call 999 for an ambulance or go straight to A&E

Or ask someone else to call 999 or take you to A&E.

If it’s not an emergency, but you need medical help fast for a physical health problem, dial 111
