Who we help

The Buckinghamshire Maternal Mental Health Service is available to women and birthing people who live in Buckinghamshire and/or are registered with a Buckinghamshire-based doctor (GP).

We offer support to women and birthing people who are experiencing moderate to severe distress related to:

• pregnancy
• childbirth
• birth trauma
• loss of your baby.

Referrals

We accept referrals from:

• Health and social care professionals including specialist mental health and bereavement midwives
• Consultant midwives
• Obstetricians
• Health visitors
