patient invIt is really important for us to involve the people who use our services in the care we provide, as well as the community around them, and those who are employed by the trust.

In order to ensure we are reflecting what is important to people, our goal is to develop, write and consult on an involvement and experience strategy.

The development of this will be in two stages:

  • Stage 1 – we’d like people’s thoughts and comments about how we can better involve them, what we do well and where we can make improvements
  • Stage 2 – we will use those comments to write a draft strategy which we will then share for further comment before preparing the final strategy

There will also be a number of workshops for anyone who is interested to come along to and participate in.

The trust has made a short video to promote the work we are doing and we would ask that staff share this with patients, service users, families and carers as we want as many people to get involved as possible.
