But the clinicians, administrators, stewards and marshals are behind the scenes crew, who make it all run like clockwork, are being boosted even more by the high praise they are receiving on the independent I Want Great Care review website.
Many of the comments refer to the “exceptional staff” and how they were “thoughtful, helpful and cheerful.”
Tehmeena Ajmal, Covid Operations Director, said: “Our vaccination centre team is so pleased to receive such warm and thoughtful responses from the public. Five-star reviews really do make a difference to the team, and to hear how much this service is appreciated.
“So, thank you everyone who has taken the time to leave a review. We are just as keen to see if there is anything we can do to improve. Your comments and views really do matter to us and to the many thousands more people we will be vaccinating over the coming weeks.”
One person who was feeling anxious prior to her vaccine said: “Friendly, happy staff took all possible stress out of the experience.”
Another commented: “Transition between the stations was quick but efficiently completed. Stewards kept the patients well sign posted in addition to the floor markings. Lots of smiling people and I felt safe.”
There were also comments about the “very efficient patient flow; clear and concise instructions.” And the “personable and caring staff.”
“Every single person involved was extremely friendly, polite, and very kind. Outstanding service!” said another reviewer.
