CMO Dr Karl Marlowe’s message on patient safety

In the lead to the World Patient Safety Day, September 17, Chief Medical Officer Dr Karl Marlowe gives a message on Oxford Health’s commitment to patient safety.

The theme for this year’s World Patient Safety Day is safe maternal and newborn care. In the light of this, Karl notes Oxford Health’s focus on the follow-up on the Ockenden report; the trust’s perinatal mental health services and commitment to patient and family involvement.
