Thriving High Street mental health hubs are to expand across Oxfordshire – with three new venues opening soon.
A new Keystone Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs is set to open in the former Costa Coffee site in Cowley Road, Oxford, in the coming months followed by hubs in the centres of Wantage and Kidlington.
The Keystone hubs offer a ground-breaking approach to supporting people with ongoing mental health problems – bringing care and support close to people when and where they need it most.
Keystone hubs are currently operating for communities in Banbury’s Castle Quay Shopping Centre and Bury Street, Abingdon.
And the doors to the hubs are open to the public this Time to Talk Day 1 February 2024.
People are invited to pop in to find out more about what they do and the support available.
Debbie Walton, Associate Director of Adult Mental Health in Oxfordshire, said:
“We’re really excited to be able to expand our Keystone hubs and offer even more support to more people in Oxfordshire. The Keystone hubs are already making a significant difference to the lives of people living in Banbury and Abingdon. They are open every week day for people to call in to get support for their mental health. We all have ups and downs with both our physical and mental health. For people experiencing long term mental health conditions, like a physical health condition, they may have good days and poorer days and the level of care and support they need will vary.”
You can find out more about your local Keystone hub by walking into the Keystone Hubs in Bury Street, Abingdon and Castle Quay, Banbury. Alternatively visit Website: Keystone hubs.
