Hailey takes the Exceptional People Award for June

Oxford Health’s Hailey Coles received a pleasant surprise as the paramedic was selected as the trust’s Exceptional People Award winner for June.

Hailey takes the Exceptional People Award for June

Hailey Coles, who is an advanced paramedic practitioner with the urgent care team, has been described as a positive force with a giving nature.

In addition to her regular work, Hailey often volunteers to train non-clinical staff with the resuscitation equipment in the Out of Hour cars. This has prepared more staff to support GPs on home visits, enhancing the service to patients.

Kathy Ruane, who nominated Hailey for the award, said: “Hailey is a truly outstanding member of the team.

“She sees patients of all ages independently in a service that can be very challenging and busy, and she does this with a smile.”

Upon learning of her award, Hailey said: “I was very surprised.

“However, I’m humbled and thankful that someone took the time to nominate me.”

Hailey will receive a certificate and our thanks for her valued service to the trust and its patients.

Every month we recognise and reward a member of staff that has made a real difference to the trust, our people and our patients. Nominations are welcome from staff, service users, patients, or friends and family of service users and patients. If you would like to nominate someone exceptional you can download a form here.
