Colette Parry and Nathan James who both work for Oxford Health NHS FT, celebrated recently after jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet for a local mental health charity.

This adventurous pair took part in a tandem skydive to raise money for Oxfordshire MIND. Colette said: ‘Oxfordshire Mind is a great charity to support and we know they aim to raise at least £30,000 each year to sustain and develop their services – that’s why we wanted to help.’

Colette and Nathan both enjoyed 45 seconds of freefall at 120 miles per hour before their tandem masters pulled their parachutes so they could drift slowly back to the Hinton air field, Northamptonshire. After landing safely, they were both buzzing with excitement. Nathan said: ‘I can’t believe we have just done that. That was amazing.’

Colette and Nathan managed to raise £900 for Oxfordshire MIND,which will go towards helping the charity to support people across Oxfordshire with mental health problems.

Nathan and Colette would like to thank everyone for their support and for sponsoring them.
