Training day for recovery college tutors

Oxon and Bucks recovery colleges are calling for people with experience of working in mental health to take part in tutor training

Training day for recovery college tutors

Could you offer your local recovery college two days a year? Oxfordshire Recovery College and Buckinghamshire Recovery College would like to invite you to a One-Day Tutor Training.

Wednesday, October 12 from 10am to 4pm – online

This is a one-day training in co-production and group facilitation skills, after which trainees will be able to tutor at either recovery college.

The training is aimed at those with some experience of working in mental health, for instance in nursing, counselling, psychology or wellbeing support.

An occupational therapist working within Oxford Health said:

“Tutoring at Oxfordshire Recovery College has given me new insight into how people really feel about mental health and given me so much more job satisfaction. It has increased my skills and confidence in how I talk to patients every day.”
