Sessional staff are paid by an hourly rate which is inflated to reimburse for sickness and annual leave entitlements.
Working as a sessional staff member provides flexibility to be able to meet other personal commitments or to become familiar with the Podiatry Service.
Because of a need to cover temporary vacancies, it is not uncommon that sessional staff continue working on this basis for long term periods.
